Hello Everyone!
I’m Chelsea Lawlor, & I’ll be the voice of my blog! I always find it so tricky to narrow down what to focus on in a Bio post. Currently, I am a mom, wife, Realtor, Real Estate Team Leader and I am heavily obsessed with home design & the power of Real Estate investments. Although, that makes me sound a little boring lol. I also LOVE travelling, going on adventures with my family & friends, and I love connecting with new people through social media.
A few things of the past: I was born in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia & both sides of my family are from there! We moved to Halifax when I was 4 years old. From the ages 5-15 I was an elite Gymnast at Taiso Gymnastics. I truly believe this sport is what started a couple of my strengths including having a clear vision & my consistency with focus. My husband Ben & I have been together since 2009. We have a cute little pup Lilly & our beautiful/hilarious son Reese (RJ is what he really goes by – Born Dec 2019).
I have two brothers (I’m the middle child), Mitchil & Travis. My mom (Lorna) is my best friend with the same spicy personality as me & my dad (Gerard) is a “nothing is impossible” type of person in business & life. Both have given me such incredible assets that help make up who I am today. Some may think this is a negative fact to add in, but I think it’s positive as it’s given myself & my family even more people to love: Both my parents & Ben’s parents are divorced, & 3/4 parents are now with new spouses. This has honestly allowed me to see the absolute best sides of all parents & have given us many bonus grandparents for RJ (which we love!).
On the business front: I have been a Realtor since 2011, and I started at only 19 years old. I am very passionate about staying ahead of the learning curve when it comes to innovative ways to run a real estate business & marketing. One of my favourite conferences to attend is 10X Growth Con. Throughout my career in Real Estate, Ben and I have also started our Multi-Unit portfolio (And accomplishment I am very proud of) Stay tuned to watch all of our future projects unfold, including a fun new office space for The Chelsea L Team as our first commercial project!
